ME & WHY
“When human beings are being trafficked…their bodies being used for the monetary profit of others, there is shame, fear, loss of self-worth and a feeling they will forever be tainted. Having been on the streets most feel as if there is no way out, no where to go
and that no one wants them. For some those feelings become their reality.”
As a 20+ year FBI Agent, I led Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking investigations the majority of my career. The horrific acts which mankind have shown they are capable of, have left memories I cannot unsee. As investigators, we want to rescue victims and provide them with resources they desperately need. Basic needs like food and shelter. Counseling, all the things we hope will get them out of “the life.” The harsh reality is there’s a 95% recidivism rate for these victims. It has been my hope for many years that after my career, I could utilize the first-hand knowledge and experience I have to create a program that will lower that unfortunately high number. Which is the passion and driving-force behind the founding of Innocent-Warriors (IW).

Mission
Human Trafficking is not fiction. Not social media propaganda. It IS very real! In our faces. In our backyards. Children, adults, from any socioeconomic status, gender, ethnicity or sexual preference. Each person has a story. How did they get there? Why did they stay? Why do they go back? Good questions.
We refer to them as victims. Victims of trafficking. The term, the experience, absolutely should not define the rest of their lives. The term victim carries such a negative connotation. It lacks empowerment or hope. There's a subliminal message of guilt and shame attached. Yes, they were victimized; that truth cannot be ignored. Many feel broken, unworthy and ashamed. No one should have to stay in that place. They are Warriors. With real options and proper resources its so possible.
Now enters the Innocent-Warriors organization. A group of mentors, guides and experienced professionals who are willing to show, support, provide real actionable paths and raise awareness towards a brighter future.
